Chipper Gibbes

Chipper has been a real estate and land valuation specialist for over 15 years. After graduating from Millsaps College with a B.S. Degree in Environmental Geology, he pursued a real estate appraisal career. In 2009, Chipper earned his MAI from the Appraisal Institute, and has since served within that organization on both state and national levels.

Chipper has performed appraisals for a variety of purposes including collateral assessment, probate, eminent domain, land purchase consultation, property divisions, income tax, bankruptcies, and conservation easements. Chipper has qualified as an expert witness in cases involving timberland, recreational land, partial interests, and going concern properties.

Chipper has a deep passion for the outdoors, wildlife, and wildlife habitat management. Since he was old enough to drive a tractor, he has been heavily involved with the stewardship of his four-generation, family farm. He is an avid bow hunter and a life-long turkey hunter. Over the last decade, he has become a dedicated student of wildlife habitat and timber management. Chipper is blessed to have been able to implement many of the stewardship practices he has learned over the years on his own family farm. He is extremely active in The Quality Deer Management Association, as he recently achieved the designation Deer Steward, Level II. Chipper and his wife, Susan, live in McComb, Mississippi, and farm in Learned, Mississippi, with their sons, Henry and Kirk.

Jeff Taylor

Jeff, a registered forester, received his B.S. Degree in Forest Management from Mississippi State University and has worked in the forestry consulting business ever since, assisting over 300 clients in Mississippi and Louisiana. He has managed his clients’ timberland investments for maximum timber production and return. His detailed involvement with the land includes wildlife habitats, land management, and recreation and environmental diversity.

Jeff has achieved full member status in the elite National Membership of the Association of Consulting Foresters, an organization with rigorous membership requirements. He and his wife, Susan, live near Summit, Mississippi, with his son, Reid, and his daughter, Jamie.

Chris McDonald

Chris grew up on a cattle farm in Winona, MS which provided him an opportunity to be a life-long hunter and angler. He is a Certified Wildlife Biologist® and served as a wildlife biologist for the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) for nearly 13 years. During his career at the MDWFP, Chris served as the Wildlife Bureau Assistant Director, White-tailed Deer Enclosure Program Leader, and regional Deer Program Biologist. He has a B.S. Degree in Animal Science, M.S. Degree in Animal Physiology, and a M.S. Degree in Wildlife Ecology, with all degrees obtained from Mississippi State University. Chris specializes in game species management with emphasis on population, harvest, and habitat management. He has provided technical guidance to more than 100 landowners, lease holders, and hunting clubs across Mississippi on an annual basis. His wildlife management experience ranges from the Loess Hills of Mississippi to the Pine Belt of southeast Mississippi to the flood plains of the mighty Mississippi River. He has extensive knowledge regarding wildlife population dynamics, harvest strategies, and habitat manipulation. Chris lives in Brandon, MS with wife Julie and son Preston.
